My Collaborative Work

During my time in school, I have done quite a bit of collaborative work using Google Docs and Google+. I love using it to stay organized with group work, scheduling learning opportunities, and group meeting times. I have used Google Plus quite a few times to ask classmates for clarification on assignments, ideas for lessons, and collaboration ideas. In addition, I sometimes use Twitter to do collaborative work. For example, the other day I was doing a lesson on poetry and I needed a poem about monsters. I tried a few Google searches but was having difficulty finding one that fit my lesson. I Tweeted, asking if anyone had any suggestions, and within moments I had responses with great solutions!

I have worked with other educators in my placement schools to create TLCPs, 3 part math lessons and integrated units. I enjoy working with others in order to create learning tasks and assessments for students that are authentic and meaningful.
