About Me

Hello there! My name is Rachel Krueger and I am currently a certified teacher looking for teaching and learning opportunities.

In 2012, I graduated Brock University's Concurrent Education Program with a concentration in History and Tech Ed Leadership. Being in the Ed. Tech Leadership Program at Brock has helped me to develop my own 21st century philosophies while learning the tricks on the trade.

In November of 2011, I  was in a grade five classroom for my first placement and had a wonderful time learning and teaching with a bright group of students eager to learn and participate. In this classroom we focused on learning through games and worked on making connections. My favourite unit I taught was the human organ systems. Who knew science could be fun!

In March, I started in a grade eight class. What a tech savvy group I had! They are excited to learn together in a 21st century classroom. We will be focused on developing our critical thinking, leadership skills, and collaboration (and many other wonderful things!).

Now I am completing a program at Algonquin College called Autism and Behaviour Sciences-- so much to learn about the world of Autism. In this program I am learning a special skill set that I am hoping will help me  teach in a special education setting.

I am interested in connecting with other educators and hoping to collaborate and share. Contact me!
